About Us
We are often called "hired guns" by our customers because when we are contracted to revamp a Web site, we are the outsiders that come to town to get the job done. We have the design, people, technical, and communication skills necessary to move projects along quickly and smoothly. If your organization is in need of a Web site design or redesign, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is a good fit for your Web content management needs, then we are the perfect one stop shop for you.
If you decide to hire us, below are brief bios of the key project players whom your organization will be working with. The senior team below will manage all resources on our end, and will commit to delivering results for your organization.
Jon Cornelison
Project Director and Senior Trainer
Jon is an experienced Web site developer, project manager, and instructor and possesses a strong ability to unite technical knowledge with interpersonal skills.
Jon started developing Web sites professionally in 1997 when he was hired by Solano Community College in northern California to design and build the College's Web site (using Microsoft FrontPage 97 and Microsoft InterDev 1.0). He subsequently built eight additional Web sites for colleges throughout California and in 2000 was a founding partner of School Web Services, Inc., a firm that specializes in college and K-12 Web site solutions.
He has spoken at state and national conferences on Web site best practices, information architecture, and SharePoint Products and Technologies. He served as a member of the adjunct teaching staff at Solano Community College from 2002-2004, where not only did he teach but also worked with another faculty member to develop a Web Developer degree program with course curriculum ultimately approved by the College and State of California. Jon has a B.S. Degree in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco.
At SectorPoint, Jon is responsible for business development, managing projects, writing and updating SharePoint course curriculum, and is the Senior Instructor (i.e. he teaches most of the classes). In his off-time, he is father, a husband, Little League coach, enjoys outdoor activities, and along with his wife, volunteer at a non-profit organization that provides guidance and support to parents with children diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder.
